Swimming Preschool - America's Kids In Motion

Swimming Preschool

First and foremost, we teach our children to “love to learn!” The purpose of the preschool swimming program is to learn safety skills and other beginning aspects of learning how to swim including air exchange, floating and kicking. Other skills like swimming to the wall will be taught. Preschool swimming will also engrain and enhance early childhood development skills. There is no better age to teach positive learning attitudes than the preschool years. You simply cannot turn back the clock and teach children to love learning… NOW is the time! We truly believe your child’s preschool years spent in our swim program will have more bearing on their success than their college education. Preschool swimming classes create confident relaxed swimmers! The America’s Kids learning progression builds a strong swimming foundation and then we watch them soar through the program.

Four students max per class!

Levels 1 & 2 – Tadpole and Pufferfish

This class is for the new swimmer that is not yet able to comfortably hold their breath, float independently on their stomach and/or back, and kick propulsively while gliding. The skill builder will quickly teach the initial skills of breath control, buoyancy, balance and kicking. The Skill Builder class is a twenty-minute semi-private lesson which upon mastery, swimmers will transfer to Preschool Level 3 group class (4 student max), 30 minutes in length. Mastery of Skill Builder classes is determined by the ability to glide and kick 15′ on their front and back.
