Our Notable Beginnings Youth Choir is designed to instill a love for music in children. Through singing lessons, students will expand their musical knowledge, build confidence, and form lasting friendships—all while discovering the joy of vocal performance.
Our piano lessons focus on essential techniques like finger placement, scales, pedaling, rhythm, and key differentiation. Led by passionate, experienced pianists, our lessons are tailored to each child’s unique learning style, helping them develop a lifelong appreciation for playing the piano.
Learning the violin at America’s Kids in Motion introduces children to the fundamentals of note reading, rhythm, aural skills, and technique development. Our violin lessons encourage creativity through improvisation, composition, and exposure to diverse musical styles, fostering both technical skills and artistic expression.
Katie Winter is a musician and educator in the Central Valley. She studied music at Fresno State and was a member in many ensembles, including the Wind Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, President’s Quintet, Bulldog Marching Band, and New Music Ensemble. She has performed in Spain and Australia with the Fresno State Alumni Wind Orchestra and in the Disney Concert Hall with the FOOSA Symphony Orchestra. Katie is currently an active performer in the Russell Howland Clarinet Choir and the Wind Symphony of Clovis, a professional-level wind ensemble in the Central Valley.
At Notable Beginnings Music Academy, our singing lessons are designed to inspire a lifelong love for music in children. The Notable Beginnings Youth Choir offers a unique opportunity for students to develop their vocal skills while expanding their musical horizons.
Our kid’s choir lessons feature a fun and diverse repertoire of familiar songs, including show tunes, pop hits, and modern music that children know and love! By incorporating music theory into each lesson, we equip students with the knowledge needed to eventually read sheet music independently.
Students will meet weekly for a one-hour rehearsal at America’s Kids in Motion and have the exciting opportunity to perform at least three times per year. We are committed to making singing lessons an enjoyable and educational experience where children are enthusiastic and proud of their musical progress!

At Notable Beginnings Music Academy, our piano lessons provide children with a solid foundation in music. Students will develop essential skills such as finger placement, scales, pedaling, rhythm, and key differentiation — giving them the tools to play with confidence and precision.
Our experienced instructors are passionate about sharing the art of playing piano in a nurturing and engaging environment. Using the Alfred Piano Method, we ensure a structured approach that caters to each child’s learning pace:
Levels 1A, 1B, and 2 – 30-minute lessons
Levels 3, 4, 5, and 6 – Typically 45-minute lessons (based on student readiness)
Students will meet weekly at America’s Kids in Motion, where they’ll prepare for exciting live performances held at least three times per year. Our goal is to foster both technical ability and a true love for music in every child.

At Notable Beginnings Music Academy, our violin lessons introduce young musicians to the beauty of string music in a fun and supportive environment. Whether your child is picking up the violin for the first time or building upon foundational skills, our expert instructors provide personalized guidance to help them grow as musicians.
Through our beginner-friendly violin lessons, students will develop essential musical skills, including:
Note reading and rhythm recognition
Aural training and technique development
Musical timing, composition, and improvisation
Exploration of various genres and repertoires
Our nurturing approach ensures that each child feels comfortable and excited to learn. Students will meet weekly for a one-hour rehearsal at America’s Kids in Motion, where they’ll prepare for at least three live performances per year.
