America’s Kids Guarantee

We realize that teaching a child to have all the necessary swimming and gross motor skills for life takes time and commitment from families and we want every lesson to be an effective and positive investment in your child. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your class, let a manager know your concerns on the same day as your lesson, and you will be given another class.

Tuition – Automatic Debit/Credit

Classes are taught year round and you may register at any time. Class tuition is due on the 22nd of every month and tuition is prorated weekly relative to your start date. We operate on a perpetual enrollment basis; meaning, provided you pay your tuition on time, your child automatically remains registered for his/her class. Tuition will be auto charged to the secure credit or debit card on file to maintain office efficiency and ease of processing for our customers. If you know you will not be attending class the next month, please inform us between the first and the fifteenth of the month so we may arrange to move another child into that spot. To withdraw from a class, you are required to submit a withdrawal request form online before the 20th of the month, prior to which you wish to withdraw. For example, if April 30th will be your last day of classes, we must receive a withdrawal form for May before April 20th.  Remember, your timely tuition payment secures your child’s enrollment for the following month. If you miss a tuition deadline due to insufficient funds or an expired card, you will be assessed a $25 late fee on the 23rd. You will be dropped from your unpaid class on the 1st day of the following month. Please refer to our yearly calendar for tuition reminders.

Payment

You can pay tuition prior to the 22nd of the month by phone or online through our website using a credit card or debit card. You can also mail in your tuition or stop by the front desk and pay by debit card, credit card or e-check. If you have not submitted an alternative form of tuition prior to the 22nd of the month – we will auto debit the card on file.

Annual Membership Fee

Because we are licensed, certified and insured all participants at AKIM pay an annual (non-refundable) $35.00 anniversary fee. The anniversary fee covers each student for one year and must be current during the time the student is enrolled in any program/class at any AKIM facility.  This fee is initially billed upon first enrollment and auto billed on the anniversary date of the first enrollment.

Absences/Courtesy Lessons

At AKIM, continuity plays a big part in our proven curriculums. Your students’ best path to success is to attend their scheduled class time each week. Because of our strict student-to-teacher ratio and full classes, missed classes will not result in make-up classes, prorated tuition or refunds. We have the right to unenroll any students from class due to excessive and consecutive non-attendance.

Transfers, Withdrawals and Refunds

In order to maintain the integrity of our classes, we ask that you avoid transferring into a different class or withdrawing from a class in the middle of a month. At the same time, we understand that there are times when making a change is unavoidable or in the best interest of your child and your family. In these situations, we will do everything we can to accommodate your request.
